Description
Gents Rolex 14K Oyster Perpetual Date Watch. The watch and bracelet are marked "14 KT.". The lower part of the dial is marked "Superlative Chronometer Officially Certified". The watch measures approximately 34mm diameter. This watch was bought new February 7th, 1973 from H.K. Brasfields Jewelers Tupelo, Mississippi. The purchaser was Mr. Lawrence Hancock, Founder of Hancock Fabrics and philanthropist. The watch comes with the original paperwork, serial number and box. Back of watch is inscribed " Thanks Hancock Textile Employees" . Provenance: Harold Boone Estate, Tupelo, Mississippi. * WE WILL NOT ACCEPT CREDIT CARD PAYMENT FOR THIS LOT* Condition – Was in working order and running at inventory. Back of watch is inscribed " Thanks Hancock Textile Employees" . The watch, bracelet and crystal have some wear. Crystal has a small chip at 9:00 o’clock position. See Photos.
